We would love to have you and your dog join us for a structured day of play!
Our knowledgable training staff test all new dogs for safety and play styles to select the perfect friends for them. All play groups are supervised by a trainer to observe body language and ensure safety for all participants.
At Bluegrass Dog Daycare, all dogs are separated into small play groups divided by size and play styles. They spend their day rotating between outdoor potty time, indoor play groups, and rest times in their own crates.
Please reach us at bluegrassdta@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
You may drop your dog off between 6:30-9:00am and pick them up between 2:00-8:00pm.
We require all dogs complete an assessment day prior to enrolling in regular days. This is a full day of daycare to determine if your dog is a good fit. We offer these on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We do ask that you or someone is available to pick them up during the day if they are not enjoying their time. You can sign up for an assessment day on our daycare website under the registrations tab. We only accept 2 dogs on each day for assessments.
All dogs must be at least 16 weeks old, have an up to date rabies, distemper/parvo and kennel cough vaccines. We also require that all dogs are crate trained and friendly with humans and other dogs.
A typical day is a great balance of playing with their friends, resting in their crate and enjoying some mental enrichment. We do not offer all day play and rotate through small, temperament tested playgroups throughout the day. Their rotation is potty, play, rest, enrichment, repeat. We have an outdoor potty yard to encourage all dogs to be clean in their crates and in their playgroups.
